Full Engine Gasket Set

The engine gasket set is a static sealing element that is interposed between the flat surfaces of two bodies joined together with screws in order to ensure the perfect seal and to prevent the leakage of liquids or gases. In the simplest cases they are made by a sheet of heavy paper suitably cut and drilled. Sheets of Klingerit, synthetic rubber, copper, aluminum, etc. are also used. The cylinder head gaskets, which are the most critical parts, are almost always a complex structure: two or more layers of different materials and overlapping each other; steel borders on the part where the cylinder liners meet and rubber inserts around the oil and water passages.
